She has been working in the field of surgical oncology since more than 8 years and particularly in the field of female cancers since last 4 years. She had authored many national and international publications in the field of gynaecological cancers. She had also presented various prize winning papers in national and international conferences.
Dr Tejal, as of today, has performed more than 500 breast cancer surgeries ( breast conservation surgery, radical masectomy ) including recently popularized oncoplastic breast surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy reverse sentinel node identification.
She holds special expertise and keen interest, since her training days, in management of gynaecological cancers i.e. cervical cancers, uterine cancers, ovarian cancers, vulva and vaginal cancers and peritoneal cancers.
